The City and District of North Vancouver are two separate communities but share the same spirit and abundant natural resources that make up North Vancouver. From the cozy waterfront properties of Deep Cove with breathtaking views overlooking Indian Arm, one traverses west to the Lonsdale region of North Vancouver where majestic views of Vancouver's downtown skyline are to be enjoyed. For those who choose to visit Downtown Vancouver, there is a SeaBus which conveniently awaits at the foot of Lonsdale and provides a fifteen minute commute to the heart of the city. Here there is always something for someone to enjoy!

Outdoor recreation abounds throughout the North Shore! You can hike or ski on the local mountains, sail on the ocean, enjoy a picnic or fly a kite at any of the many seaside parks, shop at Lonsdale Quay in North Vancouver or stroll along the sea wall in West Vancouver. As well, for golf enthusiasts, there are many great golf courses and driving ranges found throughout the North Shore region.
